A Gallery Fire

In 2023, a fire broke out at Pigeon Hill Studios in Bedford, PA. Many of my paintings were destroyed in the fire along with other artists’ work. One painting survived the fire by being placed into a metal storage compartment.

Gunpowder River Soft Pastel Painting. This is the only surviving piece of artwork from the gallery fire. It was placed into a metal storage rack and that saved it from the blaze. This painting is part of a private collection.
